Research Assistant

Conducting research on integrating vision language models with explainable AI (XAI) for healthcare applications at the SHIELD Lab under Professor John Templeton^↗.

Student Assistant

Designed and deployed a full-stack web application using React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, integrated with a local LLM-based AI chatbot (Ollama) for intelligent tutor information retrieval. Automated staff workflows and reduced end-to-end query resolution time by approximately 70%, with chat API latency under 2 seconds.

Data Analytical and Engineering Intern, SPIE ICS

Engineered and maintained Data Centre Log Analytics Pipelines, leveraging Apache Kafka and Elasticsearch for real-time log stream ingestion, event correlation, and anomaly detection. Designed a fault-tolerant data streaming architecture enabling distributed log aggregation, reducing system latency by optimizing consumer group partitioning and asynchronous I/O handling.
